Every season is different…and each comes with special considerations for a wedding! Rest assured, every time of year is a beautiful time to get married! With these seasonal tips for your wedding portraits, you’ll be able to achieve gorgeous wedding pictures no matter which month you choose.
Tips for Spring Weddings
Spring weddings are amazing. You can usually count on wonderful temperatures, and even the potential for some blooms. Wherever you have your portraits, we’ll keep an eye out for trees or plants in bloom. That way we can capture the blossoms and the romance at the same time. You will LOVE the result!
Tips for Summer Weddings
My favorite thing about summer weddings is that the daylight lasts forever. This gives us the chance for some stunning sunset portraits. If your wedding is in the summer, plan to slip out of the reception during dinner or open dancing for some magical sunset wedding photos. You won’t regret it, I promise!
Tips for Fall Weddings
Many people choose a fall wedding for the gorgeous colors, not to mention absolutely perfect temperatures. Many of my fall brides worry about getting enough color and foliage in their wedding portraits. Trust me, a little bit of color goes a long way, and all I need is one tree with some color to make it look like autumn!
Tips for Winter Weddings
Winter weddings are gorgeous! Don’t let a little chill in the air put you off having your wedding at this different and beautiful time of year. The biggest thing to keep in mind for winter wedding portraits is that the sun sets quite early (around 4pm). We’ll want to get all of your portraits done before then, so keep that in mind as you plan your day.
