It only took 8 years! — my dream chicken coop is here! I never thought this day would come! Divine timing is surely interesting!
She’s fancy, functional, and designed with both charm and chicken comfort in mind. She’s made local by a lovely Amish family. 🇺🇸 We used hemlock hand cut by partner and his father. It should weather beautifully over time. It was really important to us to source as many local or american made products as possible.
We are 1/2 way done! We plan to work on the floors, the ceiling, light fixtures, complete the run in the coming weeks! I just stained an armless rocker for entry! See my fancy coop mood board.
