If you know me, you know I love to cook and bake, but I MUST follow a recipe. As a self-proclaimed creative, it is so hard for me to get creative without a recipe, so I just don’t. Julia Watkins’ new book, Simply Living Well is my new favorite read. In fact, this book is my new go to for like… everything. Zero waste home, garden tips, drying herbs, natural home, and so much more. Find my favorite bread recipe on page 38.
Speaking of baked goods. Did I hear you say doughnuts? If you want book about bread, doughnuts, pie crust, tarts, cakes and more check out Baking Illustrated. Both books are happily taking up space on my countertop.
